Praise the Lord! It is the New Year with new things. The Good News Magazine team would like to wish you a happy new year 2018 full of God‟s blessings. May the Lord walk you through this year, and may God‟s perfect will and grace be upon you all.
In our previous edition we learnt about ‘Knowing God’s Will' and we saw that God‟s will for us is to first seek His kingdom and His righteousness and the rest shall be added unto us. Also, in this 48th edition, we are going to take you through ‘The Ins and Outs of God’s Will’. When I say the Ins and outs, it could mean when you are in-sync with God‟s will and out of sync with God‟swill. Do we sometimes get out of order, not doing our Father‟s will? Let‟s cross check from the scriptures. Mark 3:35 says, “For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”
Clearly, from the above scripture we notice that Jesus commended those who did God‟s will. In other words, whoever does not do God‟s will won‟t be recognized by Jesus. Jesus said that His true relations are those who know and do God‟s will. In the parable of the two sons, Jesus rebukes the chief priests and elders for failing to do the will of the Father; specifically, they did not repent and believe as we see in....
